Divabetic, a national nonprofit, provides free education, empowerment and encouragement for women at risk, affected by and living with diabetes to stay healthy and upbeat about their daily self-care. The First Annual NOLA Veggie Fest is a festival promoting vegan and vegetarian diets, the health benefits of which have long been known. At Cafe Bamboo in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Fest will also educate about how these diet choices benefit the environment and about the cruelty of factory farms, where most of society’s animal products come from. Our members are active throughout the year promoting the benefits of vegan and vegetarian diets.
