Divabetic, a national nonprofit, provides free education, empowerment and encouragement for women at risk, affected by and living with diabetes to stay healthy and upbeat about their daily self-care. To do this, we have created many innovative outreach programs devoted to women affected by diabetes including ‘Divabetic – Makeover Your Diabetes’ sponsored by Novo Nordisk as well as their family members including our Halloween-themed family health program, the Broomstick Bash, with Mount Sinai Medical Center that takes diabetes education out of the clinical setting and into a fun and supportive environment.
