I'm lacking one significant statement: That supplementation is only required when you are short on a particular nutrient.

To start the day with a multi-vitamin, pressumes that you will not eat the required vitamins during the day. Wouldn't it be easier to plan to eat correctly and supplement at the back end if you find that you're short?

Personally I stick to a balanced diet, and have never, and will never take a supplement unless there's a reason to take one...

Also the statement about food/plant based supplements being better/safer is incorrect. Most plants will pick up (naturally occuring) heavy metals from the soil they grow in. A lot of supplements are very concentrated and these metals can rarely be removed during the processing, thus ending up in the final product. Ask your supplier for their heavy metal analysis results. I'm sure all will be within the legal limits, but will have them in the final product... "natural" doesn't always mean healthy...

Going over 100% of the RDA is safe to do in a lot of cases, however I'm lacking a "beware" statement about fat-soluble vitamins. I really hope you know that you can actually have serious side effects from over-consumption of fat soluble vitamins... Just the fact that a lot of limits are old doesn't mean they are incorrect or out-dated.
